Terms of Service
Purpose of the service
NeverMiss is an assistance service that helps identify and organize important messages, follow-ups, deadlines, commitments and actions from connected sources. These Terms govern your use of the service. The service is operated by Théo Soubra-Belay. You can contact him at theo.soubrabelay@nevermiss-ai.online.
Account and responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, protect your login details and use NeverMiss in accordance with applicable law and third-party rights. You are responsible for the external accounts you connect and the people with whom you share a task. You must not attempt to access another user's data, bypass security controls, disrupt the service or use it for unlawful purposes.
Connectors and external sources
NeverMiss accesses only connectors that you authorize. Gmail uses read-only access through gmail.readonly together with openid and email. Offline access enables authorized continuous processing. NeverMiss may analyze necessary messages and threads, but cannot send, modify or delete your emails. Outlook also operates in read-only mode to analyze the necessary profile, emails and context. NeverMiss does not write to the Outlook mailbox. Email IMAP using a password. You must be authorized to connect the mailbox, provide a valid password or connection secret and protect your login details. NeverMiss protects and encrypts this secret server-side without storing it in plain text. NeverMiss uses this connection in read-only mode and does not use these login details to send, modify or delete your emails. This method is used for compatible IMAP email providers, including Infomaniak. WhatsApp lets you associate a number with NeverMiss to create tasks. This number is not a support channel. WhatsApp does not provide NeverMiss with a reliable link to a specific message. After you accept this version of the Terms, NeverMiss may retain for up to 90 days a short, exact quote from the part of the message that created the task, or from its transcript for audio. You can view and copy this excerpt in your private space, then open the conversation and search for the text. This allows us to make an excerpt from the message that created the task available to you in our tool. Opening the conversation does not jump to that specific message. Slack. For authorized pre-launch accounts, “Connect and activate Slack” records explicit, versioned consent before OAuth. Detection activates after Slack authorization and security checks; activation stays pending while a check is temporarily unavailable. No processing starts without consent. Target coverage includes joined public channels, private channels you belong to and your authorized direct/group messages; non-joined public channels are excluded. Unknown public membership prevents retrieval. Temporary content is encrypted, purged after terminal processing and limited to 72 absolute hours. Leaving a channel stops collection; rejoining does not backfill the absence. Disabling stops collection and purges temporary content. Disconnecting revokes user access without automatically deleting business tasks. Uninstalling the Slack app or explicitly requesting deletion removes Slack-associated data: internal target ≤7 calendar days; observed Slack obligation 14 business days. Independently proven contributions from other sources are preserved; ambiguous mixed fields are neutralized. Backups and restores follow applicable deletion controls; access must not resume before deletion replay. Availability is limited: no broad rollout. The “Créer une tâche dans NeverMiss” shortcut (the current French label, meaning Create a task in NeverMiss) uses a signed Slack interaction and a personal modal: editable title, optional deadline and explicit confirmation, with no channel publication. Opaque state expires after 10 minutes and does not retain message text; the confirmed title is retained as task data. The encrypted bot credential is shared at app/enterprise/workspace installation level, separate from user credentials. Disconnecting one user does not revoke a still-valid installation bot or another user's access. Uninstall invalidates the bot and triggers deletion; account deletion removes its contribution without deleting other users' independent data. Bounded telemetry contains no Slack text or tokens.
Artificial intelligence and derived data
Necessary content for automatic detection may be analyzed by Mistral AI using Chat Completions, currently mistral-small-latest. For the actual production organization, API training is opted out, Zero Data Retention is enabled and Labs models are OFF. The applicable DPA is effective March 12, 2026. These settings do not establish exclusively EU inference; detailed region/subprocessor mapping is a separate workstream. The manual shortcut does not require AI. AI is probabilistic: review tasks and deadlines; exhaustive or error-free detection is not guaranteed.
Collaboration and sharing
A task may be shared with authorized members. Its summary, deadline, priority, status, notes and collaborative activity may then be visible according to the assigned role. Private source messages, tokens and connections are not shared. Invitation links are valid for 14 days and may be revoked. A shared task or note that remains useful may remain after a member leaves or deletes an account, with that member's identity dissociated.
Disconnection and revocation
You can disconnect associated sources from NeverMiss. Disconnection stops new reads and removes the connection, tokens or encrypted connection secrets and corresponding private references. For OAuth, NeverMiss also attempts to revoke access where technically possible; you can revoke it directly with the provider. For password-based IMAP, disconnection does not necessarily change the mailbox password with the provider. You can change it directly with the provider to invalidate that secret globally. A task is considered used after an explicit action: editing, completing, archiving, adding a note, changing membership or sharing. Simply generating or viewing a task is not enough. A used task may remain without its source message. Reconnecting starts a new cycle and does not restore private sources that were already deleted.
Account deletion
Deletion is irreversible and starts immediately after confirmation. Some technical operations may continue until completion. NeverMiss normally aims to complete deletion within 24 hours, but this is not an absolute guarantee. Any request still open after 24 hours receives priority follow-up until resolved. New writes are blocked, private data and private tasks are deleted, and connector access is removed or revoked where technically possible. Collaborative items still useful to other members may remain with the author dissociated. A new registration creates an empty account and does not restore deleted data.
Service availability and evolution
NeverMiss evolves and may add, change, suspend or remove features. The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, incidents or third-party dependencies. NeverMiss does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Connected providers remain responsible for their own services, content and policies.
Service limitations
NeverMiss is an assistance tool and does not replace your judgment, organization or review of messages and deadlines. To the extent permitted by law, NeverMiss does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of detections and is not responsible for a decision made solely on the basis of an automated result.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains the categories of data processed, purposes, providers, retention periods, deletion and your rights. It forms part of the information applicable to your use of NeverMiss and should be read with these Terms.
Changes to legal documents
NeverMiss may update these Terms and its Privacy Policy to reflect the service or applicable requirements. Material changes will receive appropriate notice. Where law or the nature of a change requires renewed acceptance, NeverMiss will request it explicitly before applying the change. Continued use alone does not replace separate consent or acceptance where either is required.
